The custom-built SketchBot analyzes the photo and uses a robotic arm to sketch a personalized portrait in under 50 seconds! That is three times faster than standard drawing robots. To teach the artificial intelligence how to draw like a real human artist, developers fed more than 6,000 hand-drawn portraits into its machine-learning system.

Becoming the Hero of Your Own Comic

The fun doesn't stop once the robot finishes drawing. The drawing robot integrates each custom sketch directly into a unique comic book coloring page.

From there, kids and adults can grab Crayola's "Colors of the World" crayons to match their exact skin tone and color themselves as the hero of their own story. Over 40,000 portraits have already been sketched, making the attraction a massive hit for families.
